Terms of Use

These Terms govern use of TaskPay (“TaskPay”, “we”, “us”) at https://taskpay.ng and related services.

Last updated: April 11, 2026
Important: The information and documentation made available through Taskpay are provided for general informational purposes only. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and relevance, they may not address your specific circumstances, transaction structure, or applicable regulatory obligations. You are strongly advised to seek independent legal advice from a qualified professional to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and requirements.

1. Definitions

  • Employer: a user who posts a task and funds payment for completion.
  • Worker: a user who completes tasks and submits proof.
  • Task: a unit of work posted on TaskPay with instructions and proof rules.
  • Proof: evidence required to verify a task is completed (e.g., link/screenshot/text).
  • Wallet: a balance shown on TaskPay reflecting available, pending, or held funds.

2. Eligibility & Account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
  • You may not create accounts to abuse the platform, misrepresent identity, or evade enforcement actions.
  • We may request additional verification (including identity/payment verification) to reduce fraud and comply with obligations.

3. Platform Role

TaskPay provides a platform for Employers and Workers to connect. Employers define the work and proof requirements. Workers choose tasks to complete. TaskPay may provide dispute handling, fraud prevention, and workflow tools, but does not guarantee that any task will be completed, approved, or profitable.

4. Task Rules

  • Employers must provide clear instructions, proof rules, and any restrictions (e.g., region/device limitations).
  • Workers must follow instructions and submit truthful proof for the exact task requested.
  • Spam submissions, copied proof, automation abuse, or misleading submissions are prohibited.

5. Payments, Wallet, Fees

  • Employers are responsible for funding tasks they post.
  • Workers earn payment only when a submission is approved according to the task’s rules and platform policies.
  • We may hold, delay, or reverse wallet availability for fraud prevention, chargebacks, disputes, compliance reviews, or policy violations.
  • Platform fees (if applicable) will be shown in the product flow or pricing pages.

6. Withdrawals

  • Withdrawals may require account verification and may be subject to limits or processing time.
  • We may refuse or pause withdrawals linked to suspected fraud, policy violations, or incomplete verification.
  • Users are responsible for accurate payout details. Errors may result in failed or misdirected transfers.

7. Disputes & Moderation

Disputes should be evidence-based and reference the task instructions/proof rules. TaskPay may review disputes and take action such as rejecting/approving submissions, limiting accounts, or removing tasks that violate policy.

8. Prohibited Activities

  • Fraud, impersonation, or deceptive submissions.
  • Spam, harassment, or abusive conduct.
  • Attempting to bypass platform security, automation abuse, or scraping.
  • Posting illegal content or tasks that violate law or third-party rights.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud risk, legal compliance reasons, or platform integrity. You may stop using TaskPay at any time. See our User Policy for enforcement details.

10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

TaskPay is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses from user-to-user interactions.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users via the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
